Panasonic ES8077S
The Panasonic ES8077S is the top of the range shaver from Panasonic. It has a whole host of great features that allow people to get a really nice shave.
These include a rotating pivot head that will actually rock up and down to the contours of the face. The pivot can also be adjusted around depending on individual preference.
The blades of the Panasonic ES8077S also feature the usual sharpness you would expect from panasonic, however shavers will normally offer a range of around 45 – 90 degrees. With the Panasonic ES8077S the vortex actually gets the best or sharpest blade at 30 degrees.
The motors of the blade spin at around 13000 rpm and the linear motors allow it to get through even very tough beards and it is also a razor that works equally well wet, or dry. So obviously people will have no problem using it if they prefer to shave in the shower.
One of the best features of the Panasonic ES8077S is the cleaning system they have installed. Let’s face it no one likes cleaning their razor. Well with the Panasonic ES8077S you don’t have to. The system is called the HydraClean Hygienic Cleaning System. It is really clever and actually automatically cleans the razor as well as drying and refreshing it. That in itself is almost enough to sell me on it.
It should be noted that the Panasonic ES8077S is similar to other shavers in that it can take around 30 days to really get your skin used to it. The out foil needs to be changed once a year and the inner blade ideally should be changed every 2 years or so.
Buyers get the shaver with a HydraClean cartridge as well as an AC recharger and a storage stand and travel pouch when they make a purchase.
There is currently a great offer on the Panasonic ES8077S at Amazon, click through on the picture above to get it before it runs out!

Panasonic ES8077S Reviews Updated: 01/25/2012
I am old enough (71) to have gone through many electric razors and this is the best I’ve yet found.
The razor works so well that, even with a heavy beard, I only have to shave every four or five days! (In between I just look modern-chic.)
The next best was a Norelco, but the problem with that razor is that if you have a beard or mustache you will constantly be shaving off part of it – it just takes everything. The fact that I can shave into the beard with the regular heads without nicking makes this Panasonic ideal. The pop-out trimmer works excellently, also.
It is convenient that the blades need replacement only every two years, and the outer foil, equipped with included long-hair clipper, lasts a year. Other brands I’ve tried cut that time in half.
In short, the parts (accessories) aren’t cheap, but they last twice as long. I’ve been using this razor for a year and it shaves as well now as it did when it was new.
The Vortex cleaning system really keeps the entire head assembly super clean (although I had to clean the part where the head rests once). The cartridges can be expensive if you need to shave every day, but the razor can be well cleaned in hot water, so the Vortex need not be used after every shave. The way I use it, I get fifteen cleanings before I have to change the cleaning cartridge.
It can be removed from the holder and used any time, as long as there is a charge left-in an emergency, the cord can be used.
P.S. You do have to learn how to use an electric shaver! The alternative is the Firm of Nicks & Cuts.
